Happy 2011!  Hope your first month went well.  I have spent it being very busy with an impromptu trip to NAMM in mid January, courtesy of my guitar sponsor Daisy Rock Guitars.  Since I've been back, I've been working on booking my trip to Nashville the first weekend of March to attend Kirsti Manna's Songwriter Girl Camp workshop with my dear old friend Heather Larkin.  I also decided to book another trip to Los Angeles as STARK was nominated for the New Music Seminar Artist on the Verge Top 100.  I…

STARK also received airplay in German on Alooga radio with DJ Ottic.  He gave "On The Edge" and "Drunkaholic" a spin.

STARK's lead singer and bassist Lani Ford is recovering nicely after having a torn ligament in her wrist repaired.

Even though you would think she was having open heart surgery with her dramatics, Lani Ford of STARK is getting back in the groove after mostly minor wrist surgery that was mostly successful.  She is eager to start playing bass and guitar again soon; but in the meantime, she is in…

STARK is still getting press and radio/internet play for Race To The Floor and the other 2 STARK CD's.  I'm still recovering from wrist surgery but should be able to start playing again in a couple of weeks and am preparing another trip to California to play some solo acoustic gigs.  To keep from going crazy, I've been spending a lot of time in the Doghouse Studio (appropriate) mixing some acoustic tracks I laid down before the surgery.
